The basic idea behind the new headquarters was to unite the entire TOPMOTIVE family under one roof. Due to the strong growth in the team and the increasingly limited space, this was not easy at all before the opening of the new company headquarters – our 150 colleagues had been spread out over several buildings until then.

Moreover, as a family business, it was ovbious to us from the beginning that the new headquarters should be built where our roots are – in Bargteheide.

So, one of the big goals of the building project was to keep roots and create space. Roots to symbolise the interconnected future of the company family. Space to underpin the sense of community and promote imminent growth.

Fittingly in the anniversary year, the time had come. The 3-year waiting phase came to an end in October 2019 and we were able to celebrate the official opening at Lise-Meitner-Straße 4 together with all our colleagues, their families and those involved in the construction. A big celebration with many highlights:

From the slicing of the TOPMOTIVE headquarters cake to the visit of the Minister of Economics, Transport, Labour, Technology and Tourism of the State of Schleswig-Holstein to the planting of maple trees on the company site and the adoption of tree sponsorships by our colleagues!

Since January 2020, they have been able to take the bus to work quite comfortably – a bus stop has been built directly in front of the new headquarters, which is served by the HVV.

Another milestone in our company history! We are also particularly proud that our new building concept is completely in line with sustainability thanks to the integrated photovoltaic system and the hybrid VRF system with heat recovery.
