For two decades, we at TOPMOTIVE have been organizing the so-called Licensee Meeting. In September 2019, we invited our partners to Stuttgart for the first time.

With this annual event, we pursue one idea: using the opportunities of digitalization together with our strong network of customers and partners. The priority is clearly the exchange about the current challenges and opportunities in IAM. Around 300 customers and partners from wholesale, industry, workshop and service provider sectors were there in 2019 to pursue this idea.

The Licensee Meeting offers us the opportunity to regularly present our goals and developments and to obtain expert feedback. With the annually presented products and services from TOPMOTVE, we often provide the first answers to the questions of our customers and partners. At Licensee Meeting 2019, much focus was spent on the presentation of our strategic realignment: the expansion of our business segment to include the end consumer, i.e. the car driver.

The event was accompanied by valuable excursions, presented by external speakers from the industry. Christoph Y. Pitzer reported on the current and future legal situation in the EU regarding the right of independent market participants to technical information. While Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kresimir Vidackovic gave exciting insights how mobile applications can facilitate communication between car, car driver and workshop.
