With the data optimization module (DOM for short), we have been setting new standards within our catalog system since March 2020. DOM as an extended function in NEXT enables the professional and technical optimization of article data as well as their display options and sorting.

Workshop employees, for example, are regularly confronted with the challenge of identifying the right part between comprehensive and numerous articles. DOM facilitates this selection process – because the selection is reduced to the relevant information, so that in the end only the options that are actually necessary are available. This leads to:

• a faster selection for the user and
• to a better comparability of the respective articles
• to a higher hit rate of the right spare part
• to a considerable reduction in incorrect orders and returns.

Our team of experts, consisting of automotive master craftsmen and vehicle engineers with practical experience, provided the necessary know-how to professionally and manually revise half a million data records. Thanks to the expertise of our automotive professionals, DOM thus offers one of the largest data sets that takes into account the special needs of the independent automotive industry: The focus is on the relevant product groups of the automotive parts trade, i.e. on articles with the highest sales potential.
