We are a strategic partner of Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0 in Esslingen near Stuttgart. On 450m², the real structures and actual processes of a car dealership are mapped in detail. With its unique concept, the Zukunftswerkstatt serves as an “innovation showcase” that can be used to try out and test new innovations in the automotive sector in a practical way.

The initiative brings together representatives from politics, business, science and civil society as part of the Strategy Dialog Automobilwirtschaft Baden-Württemberg and helps companies from the entire automotive sector to deal with the digital transformation. Involving all stages of the value chain in the automotive market – from automotive and parts manufacturers, technology service providers and associations to media and educational institutions – the Zukunftswerkstatt promotes mutual exchange and networks the entire industry with each other.

Since September 2021, we support the project with many years of experience and our unique TOPMOTIVE combination of IT expertise and automotive know-how.

“With its history as an IT and automotive expert, TOPMOTIVE provides a completely new perspective alongside our existing partners such as data providers, parts wholesalers, automotive manufacturers and many more – it is just a perfect complement,” describes Dr. Stefan Reindl, Director of the Institut für Automobilwirtschaft (IfA) and Managing Director of Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0.

Together with network partners such as DAT, TÜV Süd, LKQ and T-Systems, we are helping to ensure that new systems and technologies can be tested along the entire customer journey in sales and aftersales. With our products NEXT, TM ERIK and the car driver app from Cartelligence, we are demonstrating what we understand by digital communication in the automotive market.
